CSS Profile Announces Fee Waivers for Hurricane Victims and New Experience for Families

Fee Waivers for Hurricane Impacted Students
The College Board recently announced that our plan to support students impacted by Hurricane
Harvey has been expanded to include Hurricanes Irma and Maria. A CSS Profile fee waiver will
be provided to students who are experiencing hardship and/or displacement due to Hurricanes
Harvey, Irma, and Maria from areas designated by FEMA. View the full
announcement here.

A New CSS Profile Application Experience for Families
The 2018-19 CSS Profile and Institutional Documentation Service (IDOC) opened to families
as of September 22, 2017. This early opening (ahead of the official launch on October 1)
allowed College Board to track the progress of families who may start their application early and
to work with institutional early adopters.
This accomplishment was made possible through the College Board’s partnership with its
Financial Aid members and in particular the Financial Aid Standards and Services Advisory
Committee (FASSAC) and the CSS Assembly Council. We will be communicating with our CSS
Profile and IDOC communities to ensure they know what to expect.
• An updated, modern look and feel.

customer support.
